You guessed it I am talking trains! But not just any old train or any old train line – but “The Northumberland Line”. Now why am I shouting about this because if you have been following our journey, you will know we have just launched our first Service Accommodation property in Bedlington. A town that had been on my radar for some time, a “hot spot” as I see it. I have been plotting and planning to buy in Bedlington for some time and super chuffed we did.
I am super fussy, so took a while to find the right property, a quiet high demand street, just 300 meters from the High Street with big rooms, ample secure parking, EV charger and garage ticked just a few of the many boxes. In the future trains will be running every half hour from Bedlington to Newcastle City Centre and we all know what that means, increased property prices, higher demand, more businesses, job creation locally and improved infrastructure.
Not only that we are the ONLY serviced accommodation HOUSE in Bedlington, and we plan to tap into the high number of business travellers to the area.
With massive investment into areas such as Blyth, Bedlington and Ashington and the cost of property rising centrically outwards from Newcastle it makes perfect sense wider areas are going to benefit. Add in discussions on Levelling Up and Devolution you can see why I am an ardent fan of the North East! Six of the new stations were granted under the Transport and Works Act Order, works has already started in Ashington.
